A. DESCRIPTION OF THE MOUNTAIN RESORT PREDEAL

It is located in Romania, in the region of Transylvania, in the Carpathian Mountains, half an hour away from Bran resort ( with Bran Castle, known as Dracula castle), in Brasov county, 127 km. (100 miles) far from Bucharest, the capital of Romania, at an altitude of 1040 m, being the highest altitude town in the country.

It is situated on Romania’s first auto route ( known as DN1), on the Prahova River Valley and surrounded by five mountain chains: Postavarul, Piatra Mare, Bucegi, Baiului and Fitifoi.

In the recent years, the resort has known a remarkable boom in construction, many well-off people from Romania and from abroad having bought or built residences in Predeal.

Predeal has a mountain climate with cool summers and cold snow winters. The average temperature in summer is +15 - +20 degrees C and -5 degrees C in winter. The ozone rich air, free of polution, good ionisation and pressure, with approximately 300 sunny days are excellent for health.

Winter sports can be enjoyed on the numerous ski ( easy, medium and average) slopes, 19 in number, some also provided with snow installations and served by 6 ski lifts.

Predeal is often compared with the Swiss winter ski resorts, with marvellous scenary.


DESCRIPTION OF THE MINI HOTEL

The Mini Hotel Alpin is displayed on five floors:

1. The BASEMENT comprises:

- DEPARTMENT FOR SPORTS EQUIPMENT RENTAL ( skies, snowboards, snow boots, etc, for adults and children);
- 15 STORAGE CABINETS for sports equipment, one for each of the 15 rooms and apartments;
- SNACK BAR ROOM, used for clients who come directly from outside, from the ski slopes and want a rapid snack and drink;
- UTILITIES ROOM ( 3 gas central heating units meant for the heating of the whole building and supply of hot water);
- REST ROOMS ( ladies and gents);
- ROOM FOR WASHING MACHINES;
- 2 STORAGE ROOMS outside the main building.

The basement has two outside doors, onto a very large public parking place and direct access, by the staircase, to the reception and restaurant of the Mini Hotel.

2. The GROUND FLOOR comprises:

- MAIN ENTRANCE from the main road ( two minutes from the national road DN1);
- RECEPTION of the Mini Hotel;
- RESTAURANT ENTRANCE from the main road;
- RESTAURANT ( for 55 clients) with separate closed space for smoking clients, with minibar, music equipment, projection equipment and screen, with elegant tables and chairs and marble floor. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with a personal touch;
- KITCHEN: - storage room;
- cold food room;
- hot food room.

3. The FIRST FLOOR comprises:

- 2 DOUBLE ROOMS ( with double bed), with separate bathroom ( shower, water closet, washing basin, mirror), cable tv, refrigerator, private balcony, tv;
- 2 TRIPLE ROOMS ( with one double bed and one single bed), with separate bathroom ( shower, water closet, washing basin, mirror), cable tv, refrigerator, private balcony, tv;
