Paltin, Poiana Marului, Brasov, is a typical mountain village with scattered households, surrounded by grazing lands and thick forests.
This used to be the medieval trade route between Bran and Fagaras, when the deep valleys were dangerous to cross, and the merchants would take their carts through the hill tops.
On these high terrains the locals found shelter and fertile soil, and their households lasted until the late 60s. Each family had their own bread oven, as the land can grow a wide variety of crops, such as wheat, barley, potatoes. It is also suitable for fruit trees, such as apples, cherry, walnut and many others.
There is a small water spring that never goes dry, but does need further drilling to fully unlock it.

Un teren cu o pozitionare deosebita , in varful unui deal la poalele Muntilor Piatra Craiului.
Paltin, comuna Poiana Marului, Judetul Brasov, este un sat tipic de munte, cu gospodarii rasfirate, inconjurate de pasuni si paduri.
Pe aici trecea vechiul drum comercial dintre Bran si Fagaras, in vremuri in care vaile adanci erau prea periculoase pentru a fi traversate, iar negustorii isi purtau carele pe varful dealurilor.
Localnicii au stat aici pana spre sfarsitul anilor 60, solul fiind deosebit de fertil. Drept dovada, fiecare familie avea aici cuptor de paine, in care cocea cu faina din graul pe care si-l cresteau chiar aici.

Pe teren este si un mic izvor care nu seaca niciodata, insa are nevoie de foraj pentru decolmatare.
Din punct de vedere legal, terenul este incadrat ca teren agricol, pasune si faneata. Pentru cei care vor sa construiasca cu fundatie clasica, va fi nevoie de demersuri in acest sens ( Primarie ).
In stanga jos exista inca urmele vechii gospodarii, casa si grajd, iar in varful terenului se dechide un peisaj spectaculos, cu vedere la Muntii Bucegi, Piatra Craiului si Fagaras.
In fata terenului, la drum, trece linia de current electric de intensitate medie, ceea ce face rapida si relative necostisitoare bransarea.
